I haven't been on here in a few months, more due to insanity in my daily life then anything else. It's tough to even keep up with my Face Book page lately.

I've been keeping up with the events in Japan and yes I've already donated money in support of Japan (even though i'm beyond broke myself and risk losing my car) 

 

One of thoes days u look in the mirror and wonder "what the heck did i do to get here." All this great stuff going on out there as far as fan goodies and such and i got nothing to put in for any of it. kinda depressing and it kills ur energy. I need a long vacation and a promise of a high paying job on my return....

Wow it's been awhile since i posted much on here. Been knee deep in moving in with my fionce in Southern Florida. As one could imagine when moving with young children into a home that already has two handicap residents that can be something of a challange lol! We are finally getting things in order now and soon i will have a new job too. It will be good to get b ack on line and back in the middle of the goings on here :D

Ok, My fionce bought me the course from Manga University, so i've been playing with the lessons and the pen that came with it and finally started the second lesson and that is practicing drawing ur fav manga characters free hand.

Well i did it and i think they look pretty good. The pen is pretty cool but i miss being able to shade with my pencil.

Oh the joy of having children! Both of my kids (age 4 and 3) brought home a wonderful cold and were nice enough to share it with me. Since my class today is Clinical in the hospital i can't go and risk getting patients sick. 

 

So here i am, I havn't posted much of my stuff although it isn't really that great at the moment. I have gotten some encouragement from people here (to get it from you guys is awesome as there is some amazeing artists on here)

I was in a mood today so i figured i would write for a bit here LOL!

A few people here  already know that i'm trying to pick up drawing. My family seems to be filled with people who are really good at this stuff. My brother's art would make DC Comics drool, my sister is abit on the odd side but is into very stylized non-mainstream Manga.  My mother is an acutal professional artist and does realism.

 I took art in school and did well but while my work was detailed i seemd to come up short in my overall attempts. (although i was the only student in my schools history to turn in an Etch-a-sketch Mini with a landscape, I got an A for it too... not sure how i did it though LOL!)  Didn't really get much support from anyone so i gave up on ever getting better.

Well I deffinitly think I'm gonna do the Army Reserves after this school is done in June. I look forward to putting the uniform back on and doing what I love to do. I have to say i really can identify with Rick Hunter in this respect. When you first meet him her really dosen't seem the military type. The sort that would enter the service and do well. Oh and my fionce is older then i am (29) and my ex is younger (21) so anyone elses seeing a Lisa/Minmei connection here? Well lucky for me my love life isn't as complex as Ricks LOL! ok well i'm gonna go to bed and dream of kicking the artist who drew Lynn-kyle in the teeth.  :D  see yall later!

Well I this one isn't Robotech related but I know more people would likely read this then my MySpace so here I go.

 

I'm sure by now everyone is getting really tired of the high cost of fuel. Regular here at a Mobile Station I just filled up at was $4.25 for reg. Thank god I own an 07' Aveo and have a small tank. But the pressure isn't letting up. Some of you may know from my RT.com Profile that I am a certified Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) and when employed as such can make good money.

I have given up on trying to find my old chapters for my fic so I'm gonna have to re-write them. That stinks since i was really  proud of them.

 My big thing was to try and keep the established characters from the series to a limited part. All I have so far is Gloval in the story.

 I'll post them as I get them up. They are not as good as  Atlantech to be sure LOL. But if anyone likes it at all that would be enough for me :)

Yet another slow day. I'm collecting video segments for my next video, but it's slow going as i don't have all myDVDs anymore. I thought I would do something along the lines of "Uncle Sam Wants You" sort of thing, but RDF style LOL. It occurs to me that the Armed forces on teh SDF-1 MUST have had an ad campaign to gather recruits. I've got some patriotic music and it's all down to getting my video shorts together.  At any rate it won't be a music video at least LOL.

 

I'm aslo serching everywhere for the missing parts from my Fanfic, the ones that i had written last that were NOT included in my post here. My sister had actually drawn up some characters for my story.  I would upload it right now but guess what? I'm running Windows Vista and my HP ScanJet isn't compatible. Go figure. So I'll have to do it the hard way LOL! I thought Vista was supposed to be super-backwards compatible? Promises......
