Well I have been in somewhat of a funk lately. So I have been reminiscing about my childhood and some of my favorite memories. In particular watching Robotech after school. Its hard to describe Robotech and convey the strength and impact it had on me. I was an innocent and nieve 9 year old. The world was huge and mysterious. One of thoes days u look in the mirror and wonder "what the heck did i do to get here." All this great stuff going on out there as far as fan goodies and such and i got nothing to put in for any of it. kinda depressing and it kills ur energy. A year or two back, Tana Sarnt, myself and our film crew set out to make one of the first live action Robotech fan films. Although we had professional actors, top notch camera gear and the fact that all of the live action footage did get shot, the project fell apart. However I would like to show off some of the fx shots that were made, in addition to some other shots I have been toying with.

Ok...So I saw Avatar, and its going to top Titanic in sales...The story wasnt all that but the Grafx OMG!!! I mean come on Battloids and Smurfs on Steriods?? Who knew????

Wow it's been awhile since i posted much on here. Been knee deep in moving in with my fionce in Southern Florida.
As one could imagine when moving with young children into a home that already has two handicap residents that can be something of a challange lol! We are finally getting things in order now and soon i will have a new job too. It will be good to get b ack on line and back in the middle of the goings on here :D

With my final entry of the year, I've just watched arguably the best Visual FX movie of ALL TIME in Avatar. This movie Visually is what Transformers WANTED to be. This movie was a visual eye candy love fest. If RLAM is anywhere near 1/2 as good visually it will be a successful movie bcuz the story will make up for any visual short comings.

WETA w/ help from ILM did the SFX for this movie and if I have said it once, I will say it again...ILM BETTER DO THE SFX FOR RLAM!Read More...
