I think that my beloved robotech needs a slight dip in realism So this is what i want to do.I want the robotech masters and the zetradi to be offsprings of the fallen angels in the bible.so the story goes that these angels came down to earth had sex with the women and that's were you get the giants from.So if you also say that the robotech masters also came from this mix,that they did not grow in size of the body but in the mind.That is why they are so smart,

Today is Monday Apr 19, and I woke up this morning to the news that CM past away.  My 1st thought was sadness at his passing.  My 2nd thought was man my stuff signed by him will be worth a lot of money now...(I MEAN NO DISRESPECT BY THIS THOUGHT!!)

(On a side note, it's just sad that I had that thought in the first place...YAY Capitalism??!!!)

Anyways, CM gave us an incredible gift.  I wish I could have asked him if he knew back then that he as introducing America to a Brand New Genre that will EXPLODE and expand into what it is today and that Robotech was the catalyst?! 

I have met so many people in the fandom who are Robotech fans.  Some of my Best Friends in the whole world I met in college because we watch RT as kids.

Thank You Carl...Thank you for introducing me to the World of Anime & Robotech!  Thank you for all of the friends I have met because of this "cartoon".

Below is my story of my first encounter w/ CM...

My first encounter with CM was in 1986 in San Diego. I told my dad that the Creator of Robotech was going to be at the Comic Gallery down the street and we need to see him!! He said ok and we went to go see him and Ahmed Agrama.
They were sitting there in their sunglasses looking cool, and I was just a bright eyed kid enjoying that I am seeing the guy who created my favorite animated series. They started talking about something (I didn't care cuz what they was saying was far over my head) and then they opened it up to questions. So I asked them, "Will Scott Bernard eventually find Admr. Hunter?" Carl proceeded to give me this long winded answer but without answering the question. At the time, I DIDNT CARE because I was just stoked that I was meeting Carl Macek & Ahmad Agrama!
So they were giving out free posters and I got both of them to sign it and Carl wrote, "Best Wishes" and dated it Aug 1985 (and the date I can't remember off hand)
3 years ago during the premiere of Shadow Chronicles I ran into him again and I told him about the meeting in SD. He told me that he remembered the meeting in SD...I WAS SOOO EXCITED THAT HE REMEMBERED ME!!
I still have that poster and it is framed in my bedroom (Those of you who have seen it know it is my prized possession!)
