No eBay APP ID défined in Kunena configurationI made a few transactions on ebay and I came across this listing for the Shadow Beta. Can any of the RT.com insiders confirm as to if the Shadow Beta is finally shipping out? See link below:



EDIT- the seller replied to me, stating that it is a preorder.

I'd be interested in knowing as well if this is actually going to get done, but in anycase, I wouldn't buy from that guy. The price is too high (MSRP $149.99) and there are other sites and group buys I've found where you can buy these brand new for less than that.

It is a steep price. What surprised me though, is that they have it listed as it being shipped out today.

I'm not sure if this has been touched upon in another thread but it looks as though the Shadow Beta has been put on indefinite hold. I asked about potential Toynami releases at NDK earlier this month and we were told that due to the economic situation, we won't be seeing any new Toynami MPC releases...which is too bad because I guess that the mold for the Beta is finished...

Thanks for the confirmation buffalostyle even though most of us assumed this was the fate of the Shadow Beta. Likely Marcus' Shadow has met the same fate. It isn't surprisingly though as Toynami haven't even announced a release date for the toys they showed early this year at Toyfair and their next release is still stuck on a boat in China.

Yep...Marcus' Alpha has been scrubbed as well...yeah, I knew it was a long-shot but I had to ask...wouldn't be doing my duty as a fan if I didn't...besides, that was the Beta that I was really looking forward to...

If I remember correctly, McKeevie said there'd be a big announcement at the end of the year. I'm guessing it'll be that the boat has left China!
