Monster found at swap meet was created by Szpectre

I found a model of a Monster at the swap meet yesterday. It was glued together really poorly. It was not painted, the colors you see are the actual molded plastic. It is very articulate, and for a moment I thought it was actually a toy, not a model. It does not conform to the 1/200 scale since it is about 6-7 inches in height and about 10 inches long. When doing the math, it appears to be a 1/150 scale model, but I cant find any info about it even existing.

Btw, it makes a GREAT sidekick to my giant Matchbox SDF-1.

Some guy named Alex who said he comes only on Fridays to Kobey's swap meet in Point Loma (a San Diego suburb).

I also picked up this:

Got both (plus a REALLY beat up 4in red Cyclone) for $50. He also had some sort of Veritech (I think) that was permanently in gerwalk mode. It might have been in one of the later Macross series, but since I didnt recognize it I didnt get it. All searches I did came up empty.

Will probably go back next week to see what else he has. He was beyond enthused that someone else even remembered Robotech.

I priced the Maximillian on ebay and came up with this:

Ha. I figured it was Kobe's. Remeber I'm in SD too.

Those were great finds and it does look awesome next to your SDF-1.

Shoot maybe do a small clip-documentary for your youtube. Invite that guy to the website.

I remember bidding on Ebay once for a similar item and it was made of metal. Not a model kit but it was a Macross toy. I forgot to bid and lost it. Darn!

Finally figured out where this thing came from. Its a rare 1/160 model kit put out by ARII. The first websites below lists it at $240. Of course since it is put together poorly, I doubt it is worth that much. I think I will restore it.
