I hereby open this thread that many may come and post their Robotech Anime Music Video's for all to see.

Please post a video, and include a breif comment or two about it!

p.s. To post a you tube vid:

1 - select the "YouTube" option in the video: button on the barcode pannel. The code "{video type=youtube}{/video}" will appear.
2 - Then get the embed code from your YouTube video page (it'll be to the right of the video, under the description) and copy/paste it between the code.

(I had to play around with it a bit to figure it out, so be patient and persevere!!!)

Here are two AMV's focusing on Minmei's early and later feelings for Rick.

The first shows when she really doesn't have deep feelings for him (we can all relate to Rick, here).



The second shows when she finally realizes what a stud Rick is, but it's too late! Although this vid presents and "alternate ending" in which Minmei wins Rick back by becoming his sugar mama! LOL!

I like the second one! Good stuff, but man Rick is an easy pick then if she gets him with a scarf haha.

(I had to play around with it a bit to figure it out, so be patient and persevere!!!)

HA!!!!!!! I had been trying to figure this out for about an hour and now that i'm ready to give in and go to bed it works!

As i say on Youtube this is my first vid and if you think it's good then i say beginners luck on my part
In any event I hope someone likes it cause i'm proud of it.

I went back and reuploaded the video with corrected Credits. I got an email back from Michael and he said it was ok that i keep the video up. ^_^

Ok thanks for the info. I fixed the video:silly: I really like the ability to post videos to the forum. There is some good stuff here.

It seems like most Robotech AMV's out there focus either just on the cool fight scenes or on general romance / love triangle stuff. (They are usually VERY good, but that's now a well trodden path.)


I think the big challenge in making an AMV is finding a more specific theme to explore... and finding the right song to fit it. While this next vid is my least viewed on YouTube it's really one of my favorites because of the unique theme blended with the right song...

You can click on the EDIT button and just delete everything, type something else in its place like "oops" hehe. Or tell me the post # located on the top right hand corner of post and I'll do it for you.
