Pre-Registration PROTOCULTURE CON now open!



The day has finally arrived! Pre-registration for Protoculture Con is now open! Multiple levels are available bundled with promotional items like patches, coins, etc.

Tickes are being sold through Ticketleap.com, and payments are processed by PayPal.  Below is a list of the tickets available, and the promotional items which come with each ticket.  Please note, Protoculture Con tickets do not cover Robo Toy Fest admission, which will have to be purchased separately at the door (They do not do pre-registration).  Sorry, but we just couldn’t make it work.

Private – $13.60  Includes all Protoculture Con activities except for the Cast/Crew dinner. $7 Robo Toy Fest admission not included (must be purchased at the door).

Sergeant – $22.00  Includes all Protoculture Con activities except for Cast/Crew dinner. Also includes front of line privileges for Protoculture Con panels/activities. Comes with a commemorative patch and coin. ($7 Robo Toy Fest ticket must be purchased separately at the door).  Only 75 of these tickets will be sold, so don’t delay or you could miss out!

Captain – $32.50  Includes all Protoculture Con activities except the Cast/Crew dinner, plus a commemorative coin, patch, and 75 page Art Book/Program Guide. Also grants front of line privileges for Protoculture Con panels/activities. $7 Robo Toy Fest admission not included (must be purchased at the door).  Only 100 of these tickets will be sold, so don’t delay or you could miss out!

Admiral – $64.00  Includes all Protoculture Con activities (Cast/Crew Dinner too!) Ticket price covers your meal at Buca Di Bepo along with the guests of honor. Also includes a commemorative coin, patch, and 75 page Art Book/Program Guide. Grants front of line privileges at Protoculture Con panels/activities. $7 Robo Toy Fest admission not included (must be purchased at the door).  Only 25 of these tickets will be sold, so don’t delay or you could miss out!

At the door – $15  Same as the private ticket.  $7 Robo Toy Fest ticket must also be purchased.

Kids (Micronians) – Free  Kids 14 and under are free.  That goes for Protoculture Con and Robo Toy Fest too.  Does not include cast and crew dinner.

Dinner Only – $35  This is a ticket to dinner with the Guests. Eat dinner at Buca Di Beppo with the voice actors, directors and industry guests the evening before the con. That’s Saturday night, 3 October. Meal is included (Classico option on the Buca Banquet menu, unlimited soft drinks, coffee, and tea included)  A grand total of 25 of these tickets will be sold, so don’t delay or you could miss out!  Full guest list for dinner to be posted soon!

Q:  Why do I have to pay separately for Robo Toy Fest?

A:  Because Robo Toy Fest, our partner con, which has full control of the dealer’s room, as well as an impressive guest list of their own does not do pre-registration.  Unfortunately, they only sell tickets at the door.

Q:  Do I have to purchase a Robo Toy Fest ticket to get in, or can I do Robotech activities only?

A;  Unfortunately, you will have to pay the $7 ticket price for Robo Toy Fest to get into the convention (no Robotech only admission).  This is because all of our insurance and administrative functions are being handled by Robo Toy Fest.  To keep it legal, you must be an attendee of RTF.

Q:  What is the cast and crew dinner?

A;  The cast and crew dinner is just that.  Dinner at Buca De Bepo with the cast and crew (our guests) of Robotech.  This dinner is on Saturday evening, October 3rd, the night before the con.  There are two ways to get in, purchase the Admiral level ticket, or purchase a Dinner Only ticket.  If you purchase a ticket for only the dinner, it does not get you into the con unless you also purchase a con ticket.  Ticket includes a meal  (the Classico selection from Buca’s Banquet Menu including unlimited soft drinks, coffee and tea)

Q:  How do I get my promotional items which come with the ticket I purchased?

A:  When you check into the con and pick up your badge we will give you a goody bag with your promotional items.  If you are unable to attend the con, we will make every effort to get you the items, but we can’t make any promises.

Q: Do I only get a program guide with the Captain and Admiral tickets?

A: No.  We will have a four or five page handout for everyone with the important information on it.  The program guide that comes with the Captain and Admiral tickets is a full book filled with Robotech art, fiction, interviews, etc.  If you would like to purchase one separately, a link will be available soon to order one from Amazon.com.

Q:  If I can’t make it to the con, can I get a refund?

A:  Because we are purchasing promotional items, which must be created well in advance of the con, we cannot do refunds less than one month out.  The cutoff date for refunds is 4 September 2015.  To request a refund, email This email address is being protected from spambots. Q: Why only 25 dinner tickets?

A:  Actually, its 50.  25 Dinner Only and 25 Admiral tickets.  We want to limit the number so you get a genuine face to face experience with the celebrities.  This puts it at less than ten attendees per celebrity.  We want to make sure you have the opportunity to have a personal experience with the voice actors and other guests.
