Comic Con 2010 Thanks To The Fans!

San Diego Convention Center
Another Comic Con comes and goes once again. We at RobotechX.com want to thank all of the fans -- old and new -- who stopped by the booth visiting and helping out finalizing our third-year at the convention. As always without you this would not be possible, after all this is why we do it, so Robotech is represented and fans have a place to gather at one of the biggest events of its kind.

Tony Oliver stopped by on Thursday (Day 1) before his own panel and extremely busy schedule to share a few moments with fans at the RobotechX.com booth. Steven Yun also made an appearance.

MPPC members Shannon, Steve and Lee

Our fan table neighbors to the left of us were the MPPC - The Motion Picture Prop Company. This group creates movie props and collects them as well. From left to right Shannon, Steve and Lee.

Tommy Yune also joined fans at the RobotechX.com fan table. Pictured here with a Comic Con staffer after the Robotech Industry Panel.

Original 85'er chats about Robotech

Every convention we get "original 85'ers" that find their way to the booth. This fan made the trip all the way from Denver to attend Comic Con 2010. As usual MEMO hooked him with the Robotech talk.

Meet little Khyron!

Robotech fans do grow up! Meet the first known Khyron. That's right! The younglin was named after the Robotech character and is the first child we know that has been named as such.

Robotech display at Toynami booth

Toynami's Robotech display featured the vinyl collection Battlepods and other Macross related figures.

MEMO and HPYUNBDAY

Robotech.com and RobotechX.com member HPYUNBDAY joined in and cosplayed as an SDF-1 cheerleader. Many thanks to go her for hanging out with the RTX members.

Don Yee @ the RTX booth

There is nothing better than fan contributions and your submitted fan art (new and old) was proudly displayed at the convention. Don Yee once again joined the booth and came up with artistic creations on the spot.

Avatar

The Avatar "powersuit." When we first saw this mecha from the film, we automatically thought about the Destroid Tomahawkv from the Macross Saga. The "powersuit" stands at 14-feet in height and is a prop from the movie parked at the 20th Century Fox booth.

Many thanks to all the fans who made this possible! We hope to see you again next year at Comic Con International 2011.
