Harmony Gold announces special theatrical screening of Carl Macek's Robotech Universe

Harmony Gold to open its doors to a select number of anime fans to see the documentary about the making of Robotech on the big screen at one of Hollywood’s premiere screening venues!

LOS ANGELES (October 5, 2011) — Harmony Gold will host a special screening of the new documentary Carl Macek’s Robotech Universe at the Harmony Gold Preview House in Hollywood on October 17, 2011 at 8 p.m.

Directed and narrated by independent filmmaker Keith Maxwell, the documentary features interviews with the cast and crew involved with the groundbreaking Robotech franchise that debuted in 1985. A collection of private photos and stories portray the herculean effort by Carl Macek and his crew to create a dynamic anime series that influenced an entire industry that is still going strong today.

Harmony Gold has specially reserved a select number of seats for Robotech and anime fans to experience the documentary at the Harmony Gold Preview House in Hollywood, California. Following the screening, guests are invited to an exclusive reception in the Harmony Gold building. This is a unique chance for fans to see the new documentary and interact with the Robotech cast and production team inside of one the best screening venues that Hollywood has to offer.
