Guys, I just did some more research and here are some things to be aware of...

The company I am used to dealing with only does the full coin designs, no cutouts. The timeline I posted previously is for that company. They do incredible work, and are very inexpensive, but no cutouts. I do know of another company that does cutout designs, and at extremely reasonable prices, so don't worry about that. The problem is that I don't know how long it will take them. I just sent them an email asking, but with it being the weekend, they may not get it until Monday. I'll keep you posted. Don't worry, one way or antother, we will have a coin for launch day. It just may not be a cutout.

I like the silver version with the SDF-1 in cruise mode but the inside of the kite should be red. As for cut-out, I say leave that out.

Yeah it doesn't need to be a cut-out. It would be nice, but man you're already going out of your way to create a coin.

Guys, don't pick the non-cutout because you think it will be too much effort. Really, its just a drawing. The coin company does all the work. We should do the following: A. Pick your favorite B. Pick a second favorite in case the company has a problem with the materials (brass, silver, etc..) and possibly C. Suggest a totally new design.

Only two days left until we send the deisn in.

WAY BETTER. CAN YOU MAKE THE MONTH OF FEB IN ROBOTECH FONT? WOULD LIKE TO SEE HOW THAT WOULD COME OUT. IT CLASHES WITH THE ROBOTECH FONT NAME.


AND I ALSO LIKE THE CRUISE MODE. CAN YOU DO ME A FAVOR AND PUT PLANET EARTH ON THE BACKGROUND? AND JUST LIKE THE LINK YOU PROVIDED OF THE AIRFORCE COIN.... CAN YOU PUT IN "UNITED EARTH GOVERNMENT" AND THE SDF-1 LETTERING NOT TO SPACED APART. ADDING UNITED EARTH GOVERNMENT WILL FILL IN THE SPACE AS NOT TO MAKE THE SDF LETTERING HUGE AND SPACED OUT. AND USING THE AIRFORCE COIN AS REFRENCE.

SINCE ITS A FANTASY GOVERNMENT ENTITY WE NEED TO HAVE UEG LETTERING EQUAL OR BIGGER IN SIZE JUST LIKE THE ACTUAL LETTERING OF THE USAF COINS.

AND I WOULD RECOMEND INSTEAD OF HAVING FEB 2009 ON THE SIDE OF THE KITE PUT U.N. SPACEY AND BRING THE DATE ON THE SIDE OF THE SDF1.

AND JUST PUT OUR SMALL PLANET BEHIND THE SHIP. TO GIVE IT MEANING.

NOW SHOULD THE KITE BE INSIDE OF ANOTHER CIRCLE IN BLACK OR WHITE?
AND BLUE AND RED GO BETTER WITH BLACK OR SILVER. I THINK THE COLORS WOULD CLASH WITH GOLD OR BRONZE. THAT'S ONE OF THE THINGS SIGH DID WITH RTX AND HOW THE COLORS COME OUT WARM TO THE EYE. THE RED AND BLACK GOES NICELY. EVEN BLUE. COOL ON SILVER BUT GOLD... YOU WOULD HAVETO MAKE THE COLORS MORE TONED.. OR DARKER.
