A remake of the classic. I think I still prefer the older version.

Has Hollywood run out of ideas? So many remakes have been done, or are in the works. I must admit though, that the Clash of The Titans clip does look a lot better than the original.

Apparently so. It just goes to show that too much of anything is bad. The old saying too much of a good thin blah blah blah. I remember when I was in high school thinking: "Oh wouldn't it be great if they had a live-ation spiderman!" Or a re-make anyway. Then they began to remake Spiderman. Hulk and so on. In the beginning it was awesome, then it just became remake after remake after remake.

Then again, surely the producers must look at the numbers. Just because its getting tiresome to me doesn't mean it is to the next joe-shmoe.

For whatever odd reason, I enjoy the cheesy look of the old Clash of the Titans. Probably the same reason I like Robotech. I wonder if later on i the future there will be a happy medium for me between cgi and old school effects. Back in the day they looked too fake, yet now as "real" as they may appear. They still look cgied.

THE DAY'S OF GOOD MOVIES ARE GONE FOR NOW. IT'S ALL ABOUT BEATING ONE MOVIE OR ANOTHER. THERE WERE TIMES UP TO THE 90'S WHEN A GOOD FLICK CAME OUT AND NO ONE CARED HOW MUCH IT GROSSED.

SINCE IT'S THE BOX OFFICE HIT THAT IS THE NEW STANDARD, INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILY HAVE GOTTEN THE IDEA OF GOING TO THE MOVIES REQUIRE THAT THE MOVIE ITSELF MAKES IT WORTHWHILE LIKE A HUGE BLOCKBUSTER. PLAYING WEEKS AND WEEKS AND GONE ARE THE DAYS WITH JUST SIMPLE FILMS WITH GREAT STORYS.

I USED TO AS A KID GO TO THE MOVIES EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. WATCHED DISNEY FILMS, HORROR FILMS, AND SCIFI FILMS. OR COWBOY FILMS.

BUT NOW, WE WAIT ON HUGE MOVIE BLOCKBUSTERS TO GO TO MOVIES.



AND THAT AND THAT MOVIES THEATERS HAVE GOTTEN VERY EXPENSIVE.

Just plain pathetic.The old story and movie was just fine.

I do not know which crap from hollywood is worse.This new titan movie or the new Freddy Krueger Nightmare on Elm st movie that is re-coming re-made next year!

Damn the re-makes and reboots!

Hollywood and movie companies are out of steam and ideas.How sad!

So, are you guys saying that it's only okay to reboot Robotech, because after all if your hatred for re-makes and reboots is real you should be just as against a live action Robotech movie... Intersesting...
