How is this coming along? Since I will be at ComiCon, I'm really looking forward to seeing it. As for awards, why not give out statues (maybe a "Golden Guardian") inscribed with the category (best fanfic, best fanart, etc.)?

FOR THOSE THAT DONT KNOW, BEFORE DIVING INTO THE ROBOTECH FANDOM I WAS WITH THE STAR WARS FANDOM AND ONE OF THE BIGGEST THINGS I WAS A FAN OF WAS THE STAR WARS FANDOM AWARDS. OF COURSE I HAVE ANOTHER NAME FOR THAT SIDE..

BUT DURING THOSE TIMES WITH THE FANS THINGS CAME ALONG AND THE BEST RULES WERE THE ONES THAT WERE MADE FROM THAT FANDOM.

WE FOLLOWING A TYPICAL TEMPLATE OF THAT. WE WILL BE DOING FANDOM CHOICE, AND A ONE WINNER STAFF CHOICE. STAFF WILL BE SELECTED BY VOLUNTEER AND SO FAR LINED UP ARE TOMMY YUNE, CARL MACEK, RICHARD EPCAR AND WHATEVER STAFF I CAN GET FROM COMIC CON. THE VOTE WILL BE DONE AT COMIC CON FOR THE STAFF CHOICE AWARD.

NOW BESIDES ME AND DAVID WORKING ON IDEAS WE ALREADY HAVE A TOY DEALER HELPING US WITH PRIZES. AS WELL AS WORKING WITH IDEAS TO PUT PARTICIPANTS PROJECT IN SMALL PICTURE BOOKLET FOR THEM TO KEEP.

THE TROPHY IS BEING DESIGNED BY DARTILLION WHO IS DOING A RESEMBLANCE OF THE FILM IN ROBOTECH OPENING EPISODES. WITH FANDOM AWARDS AT THE BOTTOM.

FOR THOSE THAT DONT REMEMBER THE FILM IN THE ORIGINAL SERIES AND IN SHADOW CHRONICLES...

I feel that in light of the news we've all received on the Passing of Robotech's Father and our friend Carl Macek.. I formally recommend that the "Staff choice award" be renamed "The Carl Macek Memorial Award" in honor of Carl and both his creativeness and his inspiration to us all.

Will anyone second this request?
