hmmm....

I still think i like the idea of unknown actors better. There is a large number of very talented actors coming up right now and it would be a fantastic launch pad for a career. Though i do understand the danger of going with an unknown.

Hmm... interesting thread. I've got a couple of actors that jump to mind for certain characters.

I imagine Gary Oldman either playing Gloval or Breetai. He could play them both great.

I think Chris Evans could pull off Roy Fokker, though I can't see him with Roy's hair.

Rick Hunter... hmm... I'll have to get back to you on that one.
Robotech... Macross... I like 'em both.

Roy Fokker is a tough one. My two choices would be Aaron Eckhart or a blondified Thomas Jane.

I think Thomas Jane would fit the "heart throb" version of Roy Fokker a bit better than Eckhart.
