It's by Hayato Aoki. The art is...not spectacular, but the guy really knows his Macross, and puts in a lot of little in-jokes (like Macross 7's Flower Girl at Sheryl's concert, and one funny shot of Alto, Sheryl, and Ranka dressed up in DYRL outfits).

An upcoming short story collection (not a comic), due in October.
