Naruto and Bleach have way to many fillers..

I watched Bleach up to ep100, but couldn't stomach it after that. They kept moving the goal posts so to speak so that I just couldn't get into the story any more.

Naruto on the other hand is more internally consistent, and it's set in a vibrant alternate world which I think helps it stay fresh. While I do not generally like filler, I make an exception in Naruto's case as the filler often gives the show's MASSIVE secondary character stable time to shine.

As for my favorites, Scifi:
Gundam Wing
Robotech
Escaflowne
Patlabor
Crest of the Stars

Romance:
Maison Ikkoku
Emma A Victorian Romance
Ah! My Goddess
His and Her Circumstances
Love Hina

Comedy:
Nadesico/IC Tylor
Desert Punk
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumia
Hare+Guu
GTO

Action:
Area 88
Full Metal Panic
Full Metal Alchemist
Cowboy Bebop
Trigun

Thriller:
Paranoia Agent
Witch Hunter Robin
Ghost in the Shell SAC
Noir
Freedom

Musical:
Beck Mongolian Chop Squad
Macross F

Movie:
Jin Roh
Steamboy
Spirited Away
Paprika
Perfect Blue

Simply put there are way way way too many to list to be honest. Is there any genre that Anime/Manga doesn't touch? lol!

Would be my top nine, in something roughly resembling a preferential order. I don't watch a whole lot of anime.
