Right.
They couldn't just mix and match actors, that would not look right. Andrew Garfield looks a lot like the Todd McFarlane spider-man. They RUNIED Venom for me since they killed him off. At first I was pissed due to the fact that Topher Grace (Eric Foreman) was playing Venom, I was thinking WTF!!!!! But it actually worked for me since he was dark and disturbed with the Foreman wit.
I think I welcome a reboot of Spider-Man. He's my favorite super hero of all time and if a new series will be closer to the comic, fine by me.
I liked Tobey as Peter Parker, but having a genuinely younger cat might help stuff out.
Although in this picture he looks like he'd be better at playing the role of Jeff Gordon in a movie about the NASCAR racer.
