I've been watching the possible Halo film for quite awhile now. LOL

The last post on the website was made last october. I don't think it's as much Bunji as Microsoft doing the wheeling and dealing. Right now Microsoft is busy trying to consolidate due to the crappy economy, they even shut down the developers that made Flight sim and train sim .

They deffinitly seem to want to do the films and I doubt they will give up on it it's just gonna take time. Even a CG Halo movie would take awhile.

The guy who directed the Halo Live action shorts and such is a newcomer and i think he could do the job if they should ever get the go ahead.

I think CGI would do fine. CGI isn't Trix and ain't just for kids LOL! THere are some HOT flicks out there in CG that are deffinitly NOT Shrek. I agree that one should have Stopped after number 2.

MEMO: Yeah I heard India was like the eastern version of Hollywood some where. I wouldn't be surprised if Micro was there lookin. It's sad. yet another opportunity for jobs lost across the pond.

i'm surprised someone actually is lookin forward to a possible Halo film... thought i was the only one...

I do believe it was going to follow the novels, at least thats what I heard and yes fanboys can be annoying, but the same with fangirls, just look at Twilight :\

I mean it's not like all these kiddie CGI movies have given the impression that CGI instantly = for kids and live action = adults? or has it?
Either way the time and effort put into those game cut scenes and trailers proves that something of the sort could be done, it's just no one will acknowledge it because they think people want a live action "only" film.

well maybe people should start speaking up? I mean if I had the option of turning any idea of mine into a film, I'd do it either animated or CGI, because there are just some things live action cannot emulate.

Also dreamworks should of stopped after "shrek 2" another crappy sequel wasn't needed.

LMAO!!!!!! well concidering that in the national Census they did a few years ago i think Jedi was like the 4th largest religion. I haven't really read Twilight but i am surrounded by people who are. I know i won't be seeing the movie anytime soon either lol.

I played Halo when it first came out, but since I suck at shooter games I have no fun. Instead I ended up trying to get all of the vehicles on top of one of the bunkers.

Super fans are just crazy sometimes. I haven't seen Twilight yet, but I will watch it eventually. I like vampires and there's not enough movies with vampires that aren't pure horror movies. I don't know about reading the book though. I don't read much. I'll pass on joining that cult.
