After seeing a few special movie pre screenings - all 3 of the Transformers Movies, Battleship, Battle Los Angeles, and few other new movies that I know will be a big hit when seen in the theatres.

I think Robotech will be a tough one to do. Especially with th e hardcore fan base. They will have to perfect this in every way if whoever is going to direct this film. I mean they are going to have to follow it right through. I could see them founding kinda in the footsteps of Macross - DYRL move or following after the beginning of the Macross Saga. I f they do, I think at least 3 to 4 movies, Do it like the Star Wars Trilogy. Macross, Sothern Cross, Invid Invasion/Genesis Climber Mospeada, and Maybe Robotech 2 The Sentinels.

With movies like Avator 2 coming out and some movies being made
now over the 200 million dollar mark.

Makes one wonder, what would it cost to do a Robotech Trilogy, live action?

LIKE MOVIES OF TODAY I DON'T THINK IT'S FOR ANY HARDCORE FAN. IT'S FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC LIKE THAT OF TRANSFORMERS.

EVEN A REBOOT IS MENTIONED.

No, they MUST still be working on the project since they're on the HG power point slide.

How is this even being labeled as an update when it's the same slide as the last 4 years (though they did modify the WB image).

Yeah, isn't this the same info they have been giving us since 2009? Are they going to credit everyone who wrote something for this movie, or is each new writer(s) rewriting the previous one(s)?
