The thing is, why would even Big West negotiated with HG, when it was Tatsunoko that started the whole mess.

HG, being offered a worldwide license by Tats in regards of SDF Macross is just being like any other capitalistic gaijin company for greed.

Nothing is new there. Even if HG repent its sins, it is still remains between BW & Tats. Given the bad blood between those two Nihon companies, I don't think BW is willing to give any concession over its Macross franchise.

At this point i think perhaps a Reboot maybe the only thing that can be done. But no reboot can survive a Toby version of Rick.

Monstrosity and Fans will Love every minute of it, because the general populace doesnt know diddly about Anime...Look at Avatar...$700M and that was a typical Anime Story w/ Real life undertones and GREAT SFX...If Robotech was even 1/2 of that, we'd get Transformers RT Style (With a better story)...

I'LL SEE THE MOVIE AS WELL. AND I EXPECT IT TO BE DIFFERENT AT OTHERS MOVIES HAVE BEEN.

SPIDERMAN, BATMAN, TRANSFORMERS... ETC.

AND I STILL SEE THE SEQUELS AT THE MOVIES.
