I'm not the only one in Tokyo, but we are very few and far between. Then again it's because we are not born here.

I can understand why some people might dislike Robotech, especially the "purists." Heck some anise shows that I watch, I could no do so when dubbed.

But some need to understand the magic that is and was Robotech.

Well as far as the Japanese anime fan go there are no Macross "purists", Robotech just simply doesn't exist in Japan aside form a few toys that get sold at collector shops. Hardcore Japanese collectors do have the RT toys but the story aspect doesn't bother them as they don't get it anyways.

Actually until recently Macross went pretty unnoticed since Macross Plus, but Macross Frontier is becoming very popular with new audiences. I've been here three years preaching about how great Macross is, now I have people coming to me saying "You should watch Macross Frontier, it's really good". Oh the irony!
