i've a few project questions

alter uni f-fic: 1589th

1 - In my alter-universe FFic, the main OCs use recolored and upgrades VT alphas, the only hitch this provides is i cannot draw their heads nor recolor the images of the alphas correctly

2 - in my alter-uni F-fic, i have no real 'villain', but would like to incorperate the Invid, however, i cannot come up with a 'logical' explaination of how to employ them, so ideas on what sparked the fight are acepted, but only via a private message

i have upped the timeline on this fanfic, originally it was time-wise form metamorphasis to symphony of lgiht, but that timeframe was too short in my opinion, so i've loads of areas to fill in, but do you guys want a memoir fan-fic or a "current-style" story

this is all merely fan-project speculation

no you've put it in the right place, don't worry no one's gonna bite your head off.

and it's up to you on what type of fanfic you want to write. you're the author you have to ask yourself what you'd like to see.

but if you want later on I could send you some ideas, I'm chalked full of them.

Is ee...well.. rally my TOBL fanfic is an 'expirement', it's really jsut one for the sakes of writing one, so i want people to enjoy readinign it, thus i need to know what people would like to read, a "what happened?" or a "whats going on?"

ie:
what happened would be full of memories
whats going on would be actually going on as it's written

and as i have so much fill-in-able area, i need to know what die-hard fic readers would like to see

As one author to another, I'll tell you that die hard fic readers love creativity and a big imagination. combine those two and you'll have a damn good story.

Now as far as the details go, I'd need to know more about it before I could offer any help, such as where exactly it takes place, who are your characters and so on, either PM me or respond right here' its up to you.

oh well...this is for my alter-uni f-fic, the 1589th

and twelling the rundown is merely the easy part...

the setting is earth after universal co-existence has been achieved, however some folks dont like the near fuedal co-existent society and aim to get war back

the military, kinda like in Reconstruction Blues is nothing more than Cops in mecha, and the 1589th is the main focus

1589th leader: A.T. Burner, just a regular hotshot, uses an alpha with an accuracy-instalment program to nearly guarantee his shots' hits

1589th cheif of staff: Jess Light, main love interest of A.T. burner, uses a suped up high speed alpha for scouting/distraction manuevers and emssage courier-duty as well

1589th Artillery specialist: Ken Drake, best buddy to A.T. and to Jess, uses a shadow-style alpha customized with a high-end reflex laser in place of the wrist thrusters, it's much slower since it lack two engines comparesd to A.T's and Jess' alpha but it packs the most punch, also equipped with Sahdow fighter's stand gunpod

the basic setting is that they are the military's 'iron fist', they enforce the law, under any circumstances, and watr is definitely illegal

the feel should be as though everyone despise the changes that have taken place

now...
the basic probelm i have: i have made it for co-existence between all races in the universe, but i want the invid to feel 'threatened' enough to attack and this 'false threat' be te source of the war...

and i have two theories:
1 - have a human pilot a customized invid mecha to 'blame them'
2 - have the humans attack without warning, but as to who of the humans firing the first shot, i have no idea

which is better, or do you, HP, have a better idea?

hmmm I'd go with theory #2, but you could also use them both if you want.
by the way I like your idea and now I have another fic to look forward to

ys well idea #2 may be good i jsut have one snag though:

who of the humans will fire frst,

and not to bash, but i dont wanna do an OC redo of Leonard, again i was not bashing,

huh...i supposed i could, say have ivnid show up when least expected and the war sprout from there due to huamns 'accidentally' shooting an invid ship and feeling 'no remorse'

but all in all the main focus is to apply the 'character' of the 1589th, and by thati mean the whole thing focuses on the 1589th squadron's deployments

also i'd like to draw up these new alphas but...i just cant draw alphas, yet anyways...but i can try...
