I dont get it either what is going on are they polishing Kasdans work or are they scrapping his script altogether ?

Doesn't make any sense to me. Kasdan is practically a legend. To replace him with anybody seems like a mistake. I'm not hopefull that they are simply polishing up Kasdan's script. You don't call in a lesser talent to "polish up" the master's work.

I am hoping that they are simply "polishing" certain areas only to make it youth friendly. As they did with Smallville. I have not seen the new mummy movie but I've read terrible things.
