Anyone watch this series?

It came out like the same exact time as Cowboy Beebop and has a cult following- not as large as Cowboy Beebop -but just as loyal.

It was a really fun sci-fi adventure story of some young guys that get their hands on a ship and then try to make a living collecting bounties and doing odd jobs and such.

I think josh Whendon might have seen this at some point because some scenes play out almost exactly in firefly- not that it makes it bad.. they are good ideas

anyway- all-in-all i liked this series a lot. i saw it last year for the first time and ended up getting the entire series on dvd for my birthday.

just wondering if anyone else watched/ likes it as i know no one else who watched it / to talk about it

I certainly don't hate it or anything, but I wasn't all that impressed by it. I cant say why I didn't really care for it. Sci-fi is my favorite thing, so I have much lower standards for it. I really should have liked this show, but It just didn't click with me.

As well as Cowboy Bebop because it seems to take ideas from that too.

I never really got into Outlaw Star either. It's probably a series I would watch eventually.

Hm i think i saw outlaw star so long ago, i can hardly remember anything.

Loved Firefly .... So thats gonna be on my watching list...

watched every episode when it was on tonami (when there was a tonami) loved it saving up for it once I get Farscape and Invader Zim
and totally agree with the firefly similarity

Love this show, just recently got it on DVD.

I REMEMBER OUTLAW STAR. AND WAS NOT THE SHIP IMPORTANT? WAS SO LONG TIME AGO.



BUT IT WAS ALSO A SHORT STORY I THINK.
