Been sick for the past week and wanted to watch something to lift my spirits. I popped in Gurren Lagann and it was perfect... until the first episode with Nia came up. This reminded me of the end, which I felt really was out of character for the show. Talk about a buzz kill. Did the end ruin this show for anyone else?

I think I'm going to just skip the last episode and watch the last ep of G-Gundam instead for a moar happy ending.
