I saw it last night and I was disapointed.

The idea of doing a joke is to make it believable. A company performing a C&D on an webforum would be a waste of time and resource, not to mention the notice was redundantly ameture.

The TLU joke, although not really a joke or trick, has an artistic shock value which makes it good given the larger base of anti-Twilight fans.

Well...the best one I've seen this year is a supposed "leak" of the upcoming Ayumi Hamasaki album (due out in two weeks). Someone took a bunch of random songs (by Gwen Stefani, Cannibal Corpse, Lady Gaga...even the Village People), retagged all of the tracks with the song titles for the Hamasaki album, and uploaded it.

I thought it was funny, but then, I'm not an Ayumi Hamasaki fan. Some people were really pissed off by it.

Guess I missed it..but as soon as you mentioned it I could tell it was a joke. A good one though.

Back in the day on the old Cartoon Network forums the Voltron and Robotech fans were enemies because Robotech replaced Voltron.
