by the fans for the fans

Last night when attempting to visit RobotechX.com around 10:30pm PST, I couldn't help but notice that the regular web site for RobotechX was replaced. It had a message indicating that due to some sort of cease and desist order that RobotechX had received, that RobotechX.com had been taken down. This same message also included information regarding a new Voltron site that would be created by the same talented people who created RobotechX.

This morning at around 8:30am PST I was able successfully return to RobotechX. I haven't seen that previous message of the site being taken down since last night so I must ask, what happened?

Did some sort of dispute occur between RobotechX and Harmony Gold? Or was this just an early April fool’s joke?

Look at the calendar...

However in light of recent events it pretty much can happen in future.

As I questioned before, was this an early April fools joke or was it not?

I agree with you, in light of recent events it wouldn't surprise me of HG tried to shut down this site and every other Robotech fan site. It’s a fair question to ask if we as users of RobotechX will continue to be able to enjoy this site without HG interference?

XD yeah the members arent too happy with me

I completely fell for it this morning. I had posted on my facebook this morning how upset I was with HG for shutting this site down and than I had to delete it when this site went back up.

Well that's a relief! I'm glad that it was all in "fun" then and not real. Hopefully this site will continue to operate free of HG interference.

lol damn, as for me I knew it was a prank because the night before when I was chatting with SIGHUP on AIM he asked me if I was a fan of Voltron so when I saw the message I put two and two together
