Can I presume the Fan Fics won't be migrated from the old forums either?

Actually no. We decided than in order to have everything run smoothly bug-free. We would have to start from scratch, clean slate if you will.

This way it would decrease the amount of downtime. So if its not too much trouble go ahead and re-post your fanfics. Also note that in a week or so, we're going to have a section of the website dedicated to Fanfics. And you will be able to post yours on there too. With all the benefits of comments and bookmarks like digg and that sort of thing.

There is more good stuff ahead.

Now if we deside to write a fanfic will we have to give up rights tot hem like they will ever come to anything but i hate to lsoe the wrights to somehting i spent time on. Which is why i will not continue fan fics i written on rt.com plus what are the rules here for them

oh no, you dont lose the rights to anything on this site, since it's by fans for the fans. It's what I like to call "freedom" haha. >.> I wouldnt dare post my stuff on the official RT site, thats the only way you lose rights.
