DC lets comic liscense to franchise go was created by OttselSpy25

The comic license with DC comics had now expired and a new publisher is being looked for interested in buying the rights. DC and the Dynamite branch is being allowed to sell out their Robotech strips, but after that all connections with the company are over for now. According to what I understand, the main contenders being looked at for buying the rights have a history of printing Sony-licensed comics.

Any guesses to who that may be?

According to what I understand, DC decided not to renew their contract as Warner Brothers has abandoned the live action film and Sony has taken over. Sony getting the brand has been a totally new direction for the franchise which we've seen nothing of yet, but it could be interesting. Perhaps a non-DC affiliate would be more willing to take risks with the comics printed under the name. Who knows, eh?

YEAH, THEIR LICENSE EXPIRED IN DECEMBER. WILL THEY ONLY PRODUCE LIVE ACTION OR WILL THERE BE A GOOD STORY ARC TO TELL.

WOULD LIKE HG TO GET INTO MORE IN ACADEMY. IF HG WILL LOOK INTO BUILDING THAT THEN WHY NOT A PREQUEL COMIC.
