NEVER GOT THIS NEW RUN.

They did a test run in Hiroshima, but it didn't do well enough for a wide release, alas. Maybe for the 35th Anniversary...

Perhaps if they focused on digital print it would fare better.

Well obviously I don't live there!

But don't you think in part with the mass exodus from print to digital with the massive sales of the iPad, Kindle and other tablets that Japan can stay as an island onto themselves in just having print media?

The article below does give a good analogue about the crisis happening now with Print publishers and the closing of bookstores like Borders that the quick adoption of these digital devices are incurring;

Well then, with your massive experience in the publishing industry, why don't you come to Japan and show them what they're doing wrong?

Don't need to Gubaba, the market has spoken for them. Too late for some as what had happen with that test run in Hiroshima.

Well Gubaba, if Bandai doesnt' think there's a market for digital print then hey. As the saying goes 'You snooze, you lose!'

Leave it for the trailblazers then.

Very true, but they do share the property rights to Macross along with Big West. Why doesn't Bandai/Big West forego the middleman and publish these themselves online.

Here's what DC comics have done;

Gubaba, you and the rest of the Macross fandom should let Bandai/Big West know that fans are clamouring for digital content to fill their portable digital devices, be it iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets, etext readers and so on.

You can make a difference, but the fans have to demand it!
