UEG productions will request an official explanation From Harmony Gold for the supposed claims (and already did from Devian Art) , and an immediate reinstatement of our own copyrighted works.

The Works UEG holds copyright on( and Claimed by HG) :

Title: The Battle of Cegar 2

Title: The Battle of Cegar 03

The images in question were a part of the

"The Battle of Cegar 200"/Boj na cegru 200 . project , produced (under contract ) for the National Museum Nis/Serbia.(in 2009). And do not have any connection to any of the trademarks or copyrights Harmony Gold USA holds.

The Natinal Museum and Ueg productions are the copyright owners of the works in question. And Ueg productions has full legal right to display such works.

Harmony Gold USA does not have the legal base to claim Copyright over them. And such claims will be considered as copyright infringement

It is extreme, but I know similar examples.
I guess with HG it is pretty simple, they have some dumb executive who needs to promote himself/herself in front of boses, so now they found enemy.

At least, it gives us a topic for discussion related to Robotech. It becomes rare here.

The official notice from Devian art

Thank you for contacting deviantART, I will be assisting you with your support ticket.

The records associated with your account, robotechgenesis.deviantart.com/ indicate that the removed deviations were named specifically in a Claim of Copyright Infringement filed by Harmony Gold USA and were removed in order to comply with the claim of infringement on the federal trademark held by that company on the "Robotech" and "Macross" properties.

Some more works which were within the 36 claimed as an infringement of the Robotech and Macross trademarks by Harmony Gold USA

Clearly listed as my Star Trek Fanwork

And Clearly Listed as my Gundam Fanwork

Just wondering.. what would Bandai/Sunrise(Gundam) and Paramount Pictures(Star Trek).. say of Harmony Gold USA claiming Copyright over their respected franchises....

This is a very serious matter...

Well the fact of the matter is after Nenad received the C&D work on Genesis was stopped and that was it, but now they are going after his works posted on Deviantart :|
where he clearly has the right to post them there.
That does not in any god damn way, infringe on their copyright
because there are also thousands of fan works posted on DA too, is HG going to go after all of them?

It's their fucking right

I would have to agree with you UEG,
unless you were making a profit out of it!?
The fact Harmony went after your Fan Art,
was just wrong and not cool.
Then all Robotech Fan Art should be taken down in that case!
heck might aswell take down this site and all the other sites too while there at it, but that would be extreme or would it?
if you like my art and would like to see more of my work go to isamu5979.deviantart.com/

Not a single cent of profit was ever made, nor to be made for the entire life span of the project(nor afterwards)

Is it EXTREME...very much so...
